Need a source for a cup seal for our brake master cylinders. Also needs to be compatible with 5606.
Cylinder bore is .937, shaft dia is .372, seal is 5/16" (.312) in width.

Any leads appreciated, local hydraulic services company struck out .

Maybe from Motion Industries if you have one local?

I know people who have made new pistons that use O-Rings for applications where the OEM seals are no longer available.

Craig,
Try Baum Hydraulics on Omaha, NE. They have a pretty good assortment and have been helpful to me in the past.

Is the cross section of that piece like a V Packing?

Thanks for posting that link, the seals are like the 'U' cup in cross section. I need to check with that company to see if they have something in the size we need. It's hard to believe no one is producing something like that, I am having serious doubts about how hard the folks that were looking for us looked on their 'nation wide' search.

Have you tried any of the other operators?

Dang, forgot all about this, I'll get with the program on Monday, I've worked on Wildcat brakes.... in fact we sold a set a while back, maybe you ended up with them..

Just made a call to find out what we did (it's been a while). Turns out we couldn't find any seals etc to fit, so we used T28 master cylinders & that cured the ongoing Wildcat brake problem we were having. hth :)

Now that should be workable. We may have a set of those around, if not I know where one is sitting static that's not going anywhere! Thanks for the heads up on that one. I was getting close to looking into something like that if nothing materialized with the seals soon.

I was digging through a pile of T6 control surfaces yesterday & discovered a third Wildcat drop tank :)
