We are beavering away restoring a Link Trainer, the design of which was started in America. The electronics are in poor condition and we are having trouble getting hold of the valves. It is an interesting project.
Ken,
Some of the crew at the Vintage Flying Museum in Fort Worth are restoring a Link trainer, too! James Kelly is restoring the electronics and he is making good progress. What valves ("vacuum tubes" to us Yanks) and other electronic parts do you need? James and I are amateur radio operators, and we are both into restoring tube-type ham, CB, and military radio gear. James is also big into tube-type audio equipment. We have plenty of resources and contacts within the electronics hobby, so we may be able to help you out.
Cheers!
