We may have a DC-3 donated to our museum soon which will need to be moved by road. has anybody done this recently and does anyone have suggestions on the most cost effective methods and vendors to accomplish this? It will be going from Florida to Texas.

Thanks.

I can highly recommend All Coast Aircraft Recovery. They did an outstanding job for us recently. Contact Chuck Mosely at www.allcoastaircraftrecovery.com. They have a number of airplanes that they have moved recently on their website.

Try a PM to tulsaboy on this forum also if need be. The Tulsa Air And Space Museum recently had a DC-3 trucked cross-country.

Basler Turbo in Oshkosh might be able to help you. Looks like you have a few good names already!
