hello,
just a small notice that i am a stuka freak and bussy with a B-1.
because there is not mutch around of stuka i made a website about stuka perts, restoration of it and the rstoration and assy of a B-1.
any advice or comment is welcome,

hello Matt,
thanks for your comment, its indeed big stuff ,
the stuka is bigger than a ME 109 and for the moment we are with 2 people but its only myself for the moment who's doing the work of restoration itself.

about the updates ;"normaly" every month there will be a update and the readers will be notified about it via this forum. so for the real freaks no wrries to miss something.

I am still looking for someone who can help us (in his free time) with 3 -D
design coz blueprints are realy a pain and mostly has to be done by reversed engineering

You might be able to get some volunteers if you narrow down your location a bit, just saying your in Europe covers alot of area. The person you are looking for might be nearby if he knew where you were.

the project is located in Belgium (europe) but for 3D you don't have to live close , you can do this also via email.

it will be in static display coz to make it flying you need lots of cash and a crew around you ,

i hope to find some sponsorship in the future or a few people who would like to work along myself.

Wow what an undertaking.Yes CAD design and 3D are leading edge tools in the restoration trade these days.Piece by piece it will take shape.Get as much documentation together as possible.Here is our site and I (try to) update the blog as regular as possible..

Hello Rosco,
I have visited your site, and it looks promising
its indeed as you say there are out there great guys and i think that all of the people who are involved in restoration etc do this with a big heart like myself.
THE problem what i have are blueprints -construction plans its not like with spit that there is still a lot avaible on the market even for ME109, FW190 ,262
stuka is very dificult i have written all over this planet and came up with mostly the same stuff, maintenance or updates.
so i am obliged to do reversed engineering and 3 D would be a great help indeed but as i am only person carrying whole this project onto my shoulders its out of the question for the moment also due the costs, I didn't win with the lotery i am just an aircraft builder 8-5 job.
if there would be money i could go to a proffesional company and just ask.

i hope that i have luck one day to have a cooperation with one of the readers so we can come a stepp closer to it.
anyway , i enjoyed looking to your web .

Good luck with the project.

That is an amazing cache of Jumo 211 engine blocks in the photo from the album. I've counted 20+ engine blocks, but it's a shame they are stored outside. After chemical treatment, I wonder how many could built to running condition? 20+ clean blocks could almost form the basis of a short production run of new engines with new internals. The owner should get them indoors.

It makes you wonder what else is to be found such as a pile of DB engines or Jumo 213s.
