Gary, can you at least promise us that the nose art won't be so PC as to ruin the spirit of original nose art and its (original) morale boosting appeal.

:( PC.......

All you here on this site is how hard Gary works and what great things he is doing. I went along with it for awhile, but then I really took a look for myself. First, I see him practicing snake handling like some backwoods hillbilly faith -healer preacher from eastern Kentucky. Then this morning I look on the site again and there he is doing some ritual involving a mostly naked lady and a rubber hose. I think he's spent to much time in West Texas.

Not to divulge too much information on the proposed nose art for Ol' 927, but let's just say that I don't have to worry about the political correctness part of it, as it likely won't portray a woman at all.

But y'all just be patient. You'll see it soon enough. ;-)

Great, Gary! In 10 years, somebody's gonna ask about the B-24 in the desert paint scheme, named "Question Mark". Way to go. :D

Keep it up, buddy! We're all hanging on every post!

Gary, it sounds like the suits may come up with some boring not-a-cute female type scheme. Before that happens you ought to make a premptive strike. How much would it cost to personalize it for me? On one side some good looking babe, the more bodacious the better, maybe Jenny McCartny, and on the other a noble beast, symbol of victory, Bevo! It'd be worth a Spitfire flight for you where you can enjoy the sound of the Merlin in all attitudes. If you leave it to those guys in the office they may put some Aggie looking guy on there.

Gary,

Your hanger cat, Mosquito, sent me an email saying he wanted this nose art painted on Lil after taking that rattlesnake bite to the head.
