I'd hope some of the B-29/B-24 crew can post here about it, but I don't think there was any intention on the CAF's side to paint Mr. Jamieson in a bad light, just the victim of bad timing.
There is still no intention to paint Mr. Jamieson in a bad light, by me or anyone. I'm quite sure he's an honest man. What has always bothered me is that nothing was ever put out, as far as I know, that refuted the story that he was putting the money up.
I just wanted to make sure that everyone knows that in spite of the press for Mr. Jamieson, it was Mr. Cavanaugh that saved the day.

Brad, I didn't know loadmasters could write so well beyond the words dog, cat, girl, beer......

John I used to have trouble spelling Kat but not no more! I still spell it bier from time to time though!

Hey Brad: Photo two looks almost like she had 130 J props installed....by the way, how did you end up with the extra blade in that pic? I don't figure that you guys were flying that close of formation work....
Nice photos and congrats to all involved.
My cell phone takes some weird pictures. I took one of the C-17 cranking up and the blades look like they are coming out of the cowling.
