For our Corsair F4U-5 restoration project we need blue prints or patterns to rebuild or make replicas of the ailerons, at this time we only have some metal parts of the originals, we need something to work on as a pattern with measures.
The Structural Repair Manual does not have a complete information for us to work. We can make the parts in our shops.

If anybody has some info. please send me an PM or and e-mail to: chelepilot@yahoo.com

You can check our restoration pictures on our Museum FB page on:

Regards.

Mr. Eris,
I believe we are working on a non airworthy solution for you. Ill double check with Col. San Martin in the meantime.

Capt Eris:

Good Day!

Perhaps you should ask the person (s) that removed the L/aileron from FAH 609 sometime ago c. 2006 what exactly they did with it? Ailerons do not deteriorate or become metal parts when placed in storage.

Zorro, why don't you give it a rest, you obviously are more interested in "stirring the pot" than getting 609 back to some sort of decent condition,Pete pop2
