I am looking for the Amphenol pin-out information to power up a 8KC3AC-3 Directional Gyro and 8KB3AC Artificial Horizon indicators as part of a TBM Avenger control panel restoration effort. I have the auto-pilot schematic as given in the aircraft maintenance manual, but this does not give the pin letters to be used to connect to the 115V, 400cy, 3 phase power.

In addition, are there any modern solid state invertors that can be used in place of the dynomoter for power?

Duncan: Check the wiring diagrams for a R4D and it might be a help.

As to a static inverter: Collins Radio Static Inverter P/N 522-2929-000, but it will set you back a number of bills. If you have the space and can handle the weight, get a surplus MG set and use it. They can be had for under 100$.

The normal dynamotor mounting pads are currently in use by newer systems, an engine preoiler and electric standby hydraulic pump. I am sure the TBM Avenger can handle the "weight" and was hoping to find a low cost, easy to mount, and trouble free electronic invertor.

The bigger problem is to find which pins are used on the plugs! It is easier to find the old junk than to find the old junk documentation.
