The National Museum of the US Air Force is seeking the donation of a 12.5 x 4.5 (preferably 14 ply) tailwheel tire & tube (They have the proper wheel already). This is common on the P-51, T-6, etc. It will be used on the A-1H Skyraider project. It can be new or used, it simply needs to reliably hold air; it will only be used for towing and static display.
In the past, such donations have been tax deductible due to their 501c3 status and they have provided shipping. I can not speak to the specifics, rather you should contact the Chief of Restoration:
