While reworking the brake system on a PT-19, I noticed the the bleeder bolt and bleeder screw on the banjo fitting was leaking and in need of repair or replacement. Does anybody out there know of a way to repair the seats using common shop tools? Or, where I might find OEM replacements or suitable substitutes?

Hi Erich
Are you part of the Fairchild Club on Yahoo?
There was recently lengthy discussions on replacements parts for the Hayes brake system.
Let me know if you need assistance and where you are located

Kinda hijacking the thread a little:
I have two NOS expander tubes, something like 18 or 19 of the little brake pads and the metal shims that link the brake pads for the Fairchild PT-19/23/26, if anyone is interested. Shoot me a PM, please.

Jim,
Tried getting into the Fairchild Club and either it authorization went straight to the spam and I never say it or I did not get a reply. A friend of mine found a local old time machinist that wa able to regrind the seats on the bleeder valve.
