Seems like it has been around for a while. I'll bet it is expensive! It says something about laser fume extractors and filters on their site. I wonder what the hazards are?

I wonder how that would work on detecting innergranular corrosion?Seems to me it would uncover the corrosion very well.

Not sure what it does to oxidation on Aluminum, but it removes rust on steel. One of the websites says that their biggest model only costs about $4/hr to run & looking at the speed of that thing you could probably strip the paint off a P51 or Huey in a day.
One video showed it removing paint layer by layer on a piece of aircraft wing so if you had an historic piece caked in paint & crap you could reveal original nose art etc.

I wonder how well it makes toasted sandwiches?
