B-25 Mitchell Aileron questions

Sat May 05, 2012 5:24 am

Is the B-25 Mitchell equiped with a FRISE type aileron or are they the standard type aileron? I can't find any references to clarify.

The ailerons are the standard type. The C-46 and C-47 have FRISE type as well as some fighters.

I concur. The leading edge of the aileron is buried inside the wing trailing edge.
