CHT Sensor -- Source?

Sat Mar 13, 2010 11:38 am

The CHT gauge on the Warner in my Fairchild F-24W has been acting up, and lately it has given up the ghost entirely. I believe it's the sensor, which of course is the washer-type under the spark plug. Totally cruddy and old. Anyone know where I can get a replacement?

It's a 2-ohm unit, 2-wire into one cable-wrap.

Thanks,

Dave

Warner has been out of business for years. Rochester makes replacement probes. Try Chief, Aircraft Spruce, etc.they may have a cross reference for your application.

If one for a T-6 would work, Lance Aircraft Supply in Dallas might have them.

Thanks guys.

Aircraft spruce doesn't have anything for sale I can use.

I'd never heard of Chief before, but I've found their site.

I'll check out Lance, too.
