Hey John, looking good on the parts! That scope looks factory fresh! Bert Kinsey's "Detail & Scale" on the TBF/TBM has a great assortment of pics, plus some really nice color interior shots of the Collings TBM. It appears that the airplane has really picked up steam and is progressing rapidly.... Tell Norm hello for me....... One of the great things about a TBM, is that parts are still pretty much available and somewhat reasonable on the costs...... Keep it up..... One other quick question. Any thoughts on the paint scheme? Alan Brooks B-29/B-24 Squadron

Hi Alan,

Former B-29/B-24 Ops and ExO from the early to late 90's myself!

I will tell Norm and the gang hi!

So far the parts have been fairly easy to source. Progress has really picked up steam.

Well, the paint scheme is currently under discussion amongst our unit.

We are leaning towards a USMC TBM Unit. Not a lot of those units represented on the circuit,

especially on the east coast!

We have a coalition (within our unit) that is backing a unit that was active in the Pacific

and was very active at the end of the war.

Either way, we will honor the veterans that gave their all !
