I read recently that the Chariman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen and the Secretary of Defense (Gates?) are going to be at the D-Day Memorial tomorrow, June 6th in Bedford, Virginia. Bob Slaughter and Bob Sales are also amongst the distinguished guests. To any and all who are anywhere near, the attendance of D-Day veterans gets smaller every year, so come out and pay your respects to those who are left. I have talked to Sgt Slaughter a couple of times and can tell you that he is a wonderful human being!
