On Sunday night there was a show on the Military Ch called Digging up the Trenches. It was about a group that excavated both a section of a British trench and a German trench from WW1 in Flanders outside Ypres,Belgium. I was fascinated by the show! Amazing how much from the Great War is still there just a few feet under the now quiet cornfield. Unfortunately when they were all done the trenches were filled back in again. Anyone else see the show? I would be interested in hearing what other people thought. An amazing look at history!

Pat,
I saw it and share your same sentiments. Amazing what is just below your feet!
