That is an amazing story!

I have personally walked through Aushwitz and lost two relative there. The fact was they were not even Jews and many ethnics perished there seems to be forgotten sometimes. The real disgrace was the fact that the Poles weren't even allowed to participate in the VE day parade and were imprisoned like the gentleman in the article for joining the Home Army makes the Soviets equals with the Nazis.

Can't argue with that. The Soviets were guilty of plenty of atrocities themselves, before, during and after the war.
