WASHINGTON – The remains of the first American lost in the Persian Gulf War have been found in Iraq, the military said Sunday, after struggling for nearly two decades with the question of whether he was dead or alive.

i'm grateful for the navy's determination in finding him, but from what i've read the search was somewhat disorganized. anyway, now he will rest on u.s. soil, & hopefully his family will find solace in that fact very soon.
