Warbird Information Exchange

Well i least i thought it was pretty comical. So this older man came in to my work and i noticed he was wearing an 82nd Airborne Pin. I asked him if he was a Army Vet and he proudly said "yes" then he went on to tell me about this story on how last winter he found out that he was not as tough as he thought he was when he was 19 back in the Ardennes Forest in the winter of 44'. The older man then said "I got locked outside of my home, so i decided i would just sleep in the snow. Just like i did in my foxhole" "But then I woke up and was half frozen to death at 2am. So I got in my truck and went to sleep in there." He was laughing then continued on saying " I guess when your 88 its not like being 19." I most certainly agreed with him on that statement.
