The last USAF C-17 GLOBEMASTER 3 delivered

Tuesday, March 26th marked the delivery of the last C-17 Globemaster III to the USAF. With Lt. Gen. Darren McDew, Commander of the 18th Air Force aboard, the aircraft arrived @ JBLM in Tacoma WA. and joins the 62nd Airlift Wing.

That is incorrect! That was the last aircraft for McChord. There are more this year for Charleston.

No, it clearly says 'EVERETT DAILY HERALD NEWSPAPER' above the fold on page A1

I spent 45+ years in aviation, been divorced twice, and been watching/reading the news since I was about 6 so I'm pretty adept at separating the fly poop from the ground pepper.

Thus why the smilies. I figured it was one of the Seattle area papers that you were referencing and being in a "birdcage" it would be an "internal newsletter". ;)

Anyway, found what I believe to be the article you were referring to and it does indeed say that it is the last Globemaster III for McChord, not overall - http://www.heraldnet.com/article/201303 ... 1/0/SEARCH
