I read about that yesterday. Another case of someone doing all the grunt work and then government(s) stepping in wanting their share or claiming they are the owners. The guy should have kept it a secret until he started the recovery. Sounds like he let the "cat out of the bag" just for the publicity. The less people know, the better off you are!!!!!

i'm in the jewelry biz.... trust me, the price of platinum will nose dive when that hits the market. gold has already exceeded it in price for well over a year, & for decades platinum was king.. i'm sure there is other booty aboard, & a 700 ft salvage depth is nothing to conquer these days.
