Hi Mark:

My late father served in the 335th at Debden, England as Flight Chief for "A Flight", hence my username. So he would have known who Capt Emerson was, even though he was in another squadron. I just joined up so I could respond to this post.

I recall your great uncle was KIA on Christmas Day 1944 -- not a good day to get it, but I guess any other day would be as bad...

I have photos of Capt Don's plane (replica) from the RAF Museum in London. I think I may have one from a NH airshow many years ago too. Let me see if I can add them here...

You must be aware of the book written about him, roger that?
