Thanks again for sharing the pics from this museum as well. I wasn't aware that the RCAF Museum had a Spitfire and Hurricane. Looks like a great place and this one is also on my list of places I need to visit.

Sorry I should have mentioned the Spitfire and Hurricane were fiberglass replicas, this place has come a long way since I last visited when I was in Air Cadets at camp spending a few weeks at CFB Trenton

if im not totally forgotten this one is in trenton correct? When i was there, many years ago on a cadet trip. There was a cp-107 argus, unless you didnt see it there, maybe they moved it or this is a different museum.
I was about to say thats a weird looking lancaster but then i read its a halifax...love it. Great shots thomas.

This is at CFB Trenton. They do still have the Argus, didnt make it to that part of the Air Park as I was on a tight schedule. Its amazing how far they have come with the Halifax and the facility they house it in

ok so i was right about trenton. When i was there a number of years ago i ha dno idea what alot of the aircraft did or that the RCAF had them. I love the black cf-100 they have one like it at the museum in hamilton.
I did have photos of that trip at one point, but they got deleted from my computer or they havent been scanned it...
anyways have a nice night

The Air Force Museum has a great collection of aircraft. It's a shame that so many of the airframes are outside, where they are exposed to the elements.

do you mean the cockpit part, or the main wings/fuselage, the cocpit area is in ottawa/rockliffe and i guess at CASM there is the fuselage part...wonder if they ever put the two together

Sorry, trying to stick to proper museum names here and its very confusing! The Canada Air and Space Museum is in Rockcliffe (Ottawa) and has the Avro Arrow Cockpit and wingtips, as seen in that photo thread. The Canadian Air and Space museum is in Toronto and has the full scale Avro Arrow and a replica Orenda engine, my pictures from there are in this thread
Cheers!

Ugh, mixed up air and aviation, my brain hurts, So its the Canadian Aviation and Space museum and the Canada Air and Space Museum
also I am not sure what your refering to as the "fuselage part" they just had the full scale replica there and a replica Orenda used in the TV movie
