That's a sharp looking lineup...especially the MIG-21...pointy!

The T-33 now has the distinction of being the first aircraft to set foot on the brand new taxiway KILO !

Whats the markings on the tail of that t-33?

The markings on the T-33 are a mix, at best. We really haven't done much to it since we got it. The insignia on the tail is the National Guard Minuteman decal that you used to see on most Guard aircraft. The star on the nose is the insignia for the 147th FIS formerly FIG, they are known as the Ace in the Hole squadron. They are losing their jets ( F-16 Block 25s) and will be shifting to Predators .

I recognize a couple of those birds. Could we get an i.d. on who owns what. I'm still in the short end of the jet warbird learning curve and beginning to appreciate earlier ones.

Doug, the T-33, TA-4, and F-4 belong to the Collings Foundation. The Mig 21 belongs to Oscar Vickery. The A-10 belongs to the USAF, and the T-6 is CAF West Houston Squadron. Not sure about the L-39s.

RickH. Oscar's MiG....That sounds familiar. Is that one of the same batch as 'Oscar's MiG' that's derelict at Lone Star?

Doug, careful, Oscar's Mig at Lone Star isn't derelict. Just ask Mustang Driver, it's called "static display" !
