great work, you took the mona lisa of ww 2 planes & made it beautiful!! i know a guy who's dad worked on the prototype here in cleveland, naturally he's proud, but knows the thing was a turkey. i commend you for doing obscure topic aviation art, most refreshing!!!

Thank you gentlemen for your attention :P Yes- I know Tom V. and his father was USAF photograph during the WW2. Without his help this would not be possible to do. Also to say that you have spott correctly- most of my art are less know aircraft where need a lot of research and analyze of data and images before start work. This one is made in almost record time of one week and in this time I have arrange basic drawings, analyze images, contact other authorities for more info [inclluding of above mentioned gentlemen] and made this profile from blank canvas.

The P-75 was a 'composite' fighter put together with parts of several OTHER aircraft-Dauntless flaps, P-40 parts, Corsair landing gear...the above illustration was a refined version of it to make it a better performer and as such does not reflect the 'composite' nature as much (got any earlier model illustrations?) It never really went anywhere as I recall...

They consider the P-75 one of the worst airplanes of WWII. But why say that? It never even saw combat. :roll:
