I have been scanning some slides on my new scanner...I have a box of slides that I rescued from the trash in my high school ROTC class.

It says on the box "The Air War in WWII, a pictorial essay"

Among them are these gentlemen...

Anyone know who they are?

Funny! I did not even see the photo caption! When I saw the photo, I thought he looked like Spaatz, although older than he looked in the one or two photos of him that I recall having seen.

I agree, it looks like Twining. Funny how a change in uniform makes a huge difference on how many ribbons you can show off. :)
