I LOVE those 45th FS shots! Do you have any more? Just had an interesting conversation with a fellow who flew in that squadron. Said that he particularly liked aircraft #62 because it was one of the most efficient on the gas.

I almost forgot I have a nice shot Ken Taylor gave me (Pearl Harbor P-40 pilot) of him with P-40 #15,000 at the Curtiss factory.

At the risk of seeming greedy or impatient, did you post it, Jack? Did I miss it? :(

Thanks, Jack! That's a great shot of Capt. Taylor, but you'd be hard pressed to prove that's the '15000th Curtiss'. Was there a note on the back or some other documentation? The reason I ask is that digging up 'milestone' aircraft and their schemes is a minor hobby of mine.

cheers

You can match the shark's mouth, fuselage stripes and the red, white & blue bombs!!! BTW yes, the caption said 15,000th Curtiss Warhawk.
