Ok, was wondering would anyone be interested in starting a thread of posting pictures of every B-17 left in existance? Be it flying or static, or restoration, or crash site. C'mon folks, lets see some recent pics of these old B-17's. And see what is all out t here of the B-17 and all those colorful markings and nose art!

John,
FYI, she was "Aluminum Overcast" when you took that photo. It had the "AO" nose art on the left side. The name was given to the B-17 by Bill Harrison, George Enhorning, Max Hoffman and maybe a few others when they first purchased her back in the late 1970's. After a few years, they donated it to EAA. Bill Harrison may have been the major contributor at that time.
