Stupid question from the "King of Stupid Questions"...what do you think it would cost to convince one of the museums to relinquish ownership of a solid P47 Razorback to return it to airworthy condition? I know, after that the money really starts to flow but just to get hold of one?

*Queue them from 'Mission Impossible*

Maybe you could hire some Jugnappers to 'acquire' one for you?

Yes I've seen the BTs you posted... I've been meaning to reply and post bunches more pix, but some guy started
a couple 'Post nothing but ____ pics' threads on that WIX forum. So then I had to start a thread too, and have
gone apesh*t posting hawks and stangs and jugs...
Hawks and stangs and jugs... oh my...
Hawks and stangs and jugs... oh my...
Hawks and stangs and...

Anyhoo, here's another Jug. An early Jug to be exact... and to be precise, it's P-47B 41-5931...

Nice shot of 'Little Demon' Peter-four-oh. For a really good shot of Lone Star's 'Tarheel Hal' P-47, look at next months photo on Philip Makanna's 'Ghosts' calendar. There are also a couple on a.net from WOH two or three years ago.
