Great weekend!
When I got there, the flight team let me help out on cleaning up the B-25...(yes I know it is really work, but it was such a great opportunity!!!!).
After I was done, one of the guys said I could use the ladder to get some shots of the aircraft from a higher angle!! Very cool!
Got to talk to some great local Colorado warbird pilots! Awesome time!
The aircraft looked great! I have seen it 3 times before, and this was the best condition I have ever seen it in!!!!
Then on Sunday, 13 June 2009, Lynn Dakar's Ashes were spread from Pacific Prowler over Lynn's home in the mountains.
Lynn flew the B-25 and out of the 36 missions he flew, he took enemy fire 28 times.
