CATIA V5 is used by both Boeing Commercial and Airbus. You can buy home use versions of this software that operate on a good PC. Smaller companies use all manners of systems. If you are just looking for a good training software, AutoCad is probably most readily available. The 3D modeling and drafting skills are what are most important, the tools (the CAD modeling and drafting software) are easy to convert from one type to the other in a few months time depending on where you are hired.

For entry level engineers, potential employers are interested in your capability to learn and apply those lessons, not the specific tools you have experience with.

P.S. Stress engineers make a little more money than design engineers.
