May I make a shameless plug here for my recent book "Bader's Last Fight" by Grub Street, ISBN 1-904943-96-9, £16.99. It details, as the title suggests, Bader's last operational flight when he was downed over France and PoW. It explores the friendly fire elements of that days operations and puts forward the view that of five RAF Spitfires lost that day three were to friendly fire, only two to the Luftwaffe.
