Goodyear blimp lost in Germany

Just heard a few minutes ago on PRI that one of the Goodyear blimps, G-TLEL, "Spirit of Safety" was lost Sunday along with its pilot whose actions fortunately saved his passengers and crew sacrificing himself in his action...sad day and my condolences to his loved ones.

God bless the pilot, Mr. Michael Nerandzic. Duty and safety came first before him.

unusual news!! what were the circumstances?? how did it happen?? how were the passengers saved??
