i am brokering an historically significant collection of earhart, lindbergh, doolittle collectables consisting of near 50 autographs of the above mentioned on old 30's flown flight cover envelopes, air race memorabilia, press release photos, right up to the kidnapping of lindbergh's baby, earhart publicity etc. rare signed aviation art prints etc. their are over 1000 pieces that i have to inventory!! details to follow. a 50 year old + collection. pm me for details.

started culling through the collection....... thus far reference book libraries on earhart, doolittle, lindbergh, & zeppelins. books are long out of print, mostly from 60's / 70's years. old vintage lindy bronze / brass book ends, old newspapers re: lindy's atlantic hop, spirit of st. louis liquor decantors of lindy, his plane, i've only begun w/ the signed art prints.... 1 signed by galland & bader, 1 by robert morgan, 1 signed by tuck, gabreski, & more to decipher. many repro pics of the mentioned aviators. much much more to cull through. this is a 40 thousand dollar collection. much more to follow as i catalog it.

still organizing the collections. to date...... over 1000 photo negatives some published some not, some i'm not sure. air racing, planes, famous aviators, unknown aviators. the negative collection took me more than a week to sort through. some negs are credited to warren bodie & peter bowers. a meticulous collection in it's own right. graf zeppelin / hindenburg menus / luggage tags. autographs from pancho barnes, louise thaden, earhart, lindy, doolittle, fred noonan's paper work, field marshal balbo, much lindy memorabilia from the era. still have a way to go. if any wix members are close to me in ohio i'll gladly make the time for you to inspect the collection.

yesterday i went through the earhart portion of the collection. a few studio shots, some autographed, many press release photos.... can't tell you if they are published or not, if so then they are long out of print. promo earhart luggage advertisement on cardboard material, it's gorgeous!! i'm thinking of testing the waters w/ a high profile auction house with some items. i still have the signed art prints to go through which are at least 30 years old & tube stored, + an entire archive of the bruno hauptmann trial regarding the kidnapping of the lindbergh baby. to those that have pm'd me, i will be in touch. this is very time consuming but alot of fun.
