Mr, Beasley, Mr. Shipley and Mr. Friedkin:

I know that Mr. Beasley is a member of WIX and has made numerous contributions to the forums.
We are planning our air show event for May 21-22, 2011. This is the weekend immediately following Chino. It is called "Gathering of Warbirds" and will be at Madera Municipal Airport, just as it has been for the past two years. About 15 years ago the "Warbirds Over Madera" show was a premeire aviation event and it suddenly stopped. Due to the number and type of aircraft attending "Warbirds..", it was truly a "destination" event. Our last two years have gotten off to a great re-start. Google Madera air show 2010 and see the line up we had.
Joe Conway is one of the lead guys in our current effort. Our plan would be for a two hour window where the Pitts and Yak guys can blow all the smoke they want to. The rest of the event will be our line-up of fighters and bombers taking off and landing at will. Two, three ship take-offs, escort missions, lots of tail chases (remember "The Gathering of Mustangs and Legends"). We will have a smattering of military demos, mainly the A-10 Thunderbolt demo team and the guys from Lemoore in their Super Hornets. We believe our best feature will be NO MUSIC during the day.
Our question is what would it take to get The Horsemen here to due a routine or two.
If one of you could contact me with some contact info, that would be great. I wanted you men to know about our air show plans and hopefully two or three of you will be interested in this unique "flying and more flying" with NO MUSIC event.
Finally, how many of you guys would enjoy such a format? Ah, the sweet music of Merlins in the morning.
