I vistited Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum a few weeks ago on break. Heres a pic of the engine they have from F2G Corsair BuNo 14693 It is down stairs, way in the back, in the dark, with no sign, where no one can see it or figure out what it is. Fortunatly we knew what it was when we saw it.

Hi,

Your pictures didn't display. Crawford also has the special propeller from XF2G #94 that they were suposed to polish up and display.

My pictures of the various small pieces/parts after #74 was disassembled are on the resister page. They also aquird a second Corsair tail and the Sub-rudder from one of the F2G's. It probably came from #94 as for a while , Walter had the full F2G with sub-rudder on Lucky Gallon for a while.

Hi CF--

I think those are the fist pix I have seen of the engine from old #94. What a shame Mr Crawford kept the engine and the prop, but not the big white thing they used to pull around the Cleveland pylons so swiftly! Thanx for posting the shots...

Its a shame how they have it displayed-or lack of display. It is is a dark back corner. If I wasn't looking for it when I went, I wouldn't of even noticed it.
