Among Warbirds, there is a tendency to build up and paint aircraft in the markings of this or that famous pilot. Not to debate if that is right or wrong....but does anyone build up or paint their aircraft to looks like famous Aerobatic Champions?

I've seen a lot of Pitts Specials in Red Devils colors, but that's all I can think of. Does anyone have or know of current aircraft representing great pilots of the past?

I was always sorta partial to a plain white T CRAFT with 'DUANE COLE' painted upside down on the aft fuselage, a black with silver UPF-7, and a red white and blue modified CHIPMUNK. Kinda liked anything flown by a guy name of Herendeen too!
