wacokyc, are you a member of the society of air racing historians?? it's international. the cleveland chapter is the nerve center for the organization. you should come to a meeting to share your historical loot. i know dayton is a 4 hour drive, you can bunk here if you wish. if interested i'll contact the chapter president as to when the next meeting is & we can go from their. best, tom. |

a fun cleveland air races story, circa 1930's........ my dad who just past at 92 in october told a very funny story a number of times over the years re: sneaking in for free to the event with a buddy. they crawled through a drain culvert or pipe, & came up on the field while a demo team was dropping flour bombs on the field in their vicinity. |
