Is there an online list of vintage pilots licenses?

Fri Oct 24, 2008 12:39 pm

I am researching Kenneth A Ritchey and have posted about him before. I now have a War Department Accident Report on an accident he had while a civilian test pilot at the Republic Aviation P-47 plant in Evansville, IN during WW2. The report says he got his civilian pilots license in 1934 and his civilian commercial pilots license (#44001) in 1936.

I am hoping that if I could locate a webpage which lists these early licenses there might be some background material on Kenneth A Ritchey included. I found one web page listing licenses, but they did not go back to 1934 or 1936.

Does anyone know of an online listing, or have accesss to a listing of pilots licenses this far back?

Thanks,
Paul
