Is anyone attending the Red Bull Air Race in Detroit next weekend?

I will be attending on the Windor Ont. Canada side as the Detroit side is sold out unless you want to spend $900 for some hospitality deal.

Did anyone attend the San Diego event or any event in the past? How is it? Any advice?

Regards,
Mark

I was at the Races both days in Detroit. Everyone was very sad Saturday when high winds prevented the qualifying flights from happening but the action Sunday was fantastic. Combined with some cool airshow acts like the Red Bull Albatross and helicopter, Dan McCue in the Colling’s Corsair, the Canadian Harvard Aerobatic Team the races are second to none. It was a very exciting event that will hopefully return to the area next year.

I will have complete photo coverage from the pitts, races and podium on my website on Thursday June 5th.

Eric

That Canadian Harvard formation team was absolutely incredible.
I enjoyed the demonstrations more than the actual racing I do believe.
