So did the pilot of the "wingless" Cessna have a 'chute on? It lost one wing immediately, and lost the other one on its way down. I can't imagine anyone surviving the resulting totally uncontrolled impact.

The pilot of the Cessna that lost a wing had a chute, the other plane made a safe landing. All survived

I hope all jump plane pilots wear emergency chutes. There are far too many bad things that can happen with people leaving your airplane that result in you not being able to make a good landing with the airplane. Glad that everything worked as designed in this case and everyone got out okay.
Have to chuckle a bit at the end when they're showing a guy pulling part of the tail out of the ground and carrying it to a pickup. If we didn't know better, you'd think he was pulling part of some doomed R/C airplane out as light as it is.

Federal Aviation Regulations require the pilot to wear a parachute during flights with parachutists. I'm fairly certain that it states; if anyone parachutes from an airplane, all on board must wear parachutes.

I just spent the day at Skydive Spaceland. By far, this is the most interesting thing I've seen all day. And I'm happy as heck about it, too, if you know what I mean.
