Boeing has signed an order for 75 737 MAX to Air Lease Corp. and expects to announce an order from UNITINENTAL for 100 MAX's before Farnborough ends.

****commitments for the 737 MAX now stand @ 193********

DELTA is buying all 88 Boeing 717's that SOUTHWEST picked up when they bought out AIR TRAN, to replace their increasingly inefficient 50 seat regional jets and retire all the very old DC-9 shorties DELTA got when it bought NORTHWEST putting SWA back as 100% 737 again. pop1

Unitinental has agreed to purchase 150 737's, 100 are to be MAX's and 50 737-800's. This puts total orders for the 737 @ 10039, or just 9 short of the production total for the C-47 and all it's derivatives, and puts the total production run of 16079 DC-3/C-47's within reach.
