Is this trip really necessary?

May 20, 1927 Charles Lindberg, craving a REALLY fresh baguette splits from Long Island, N.Y. and heads East to Paris, but arrives before the local boulangeries have opened for the day and several dozen unhappy Parisians show up at the airport to yell at him for waking them up.
On the same date in 1932 Amelia Earhart also has a hankering for fresh baked crusty bread, but winds up settling for Irish Soda Bread.
