The Feds are gearing up to start fining airports and Port Authorities for passengers who had their flight diverted to wind up stuck on the ramp in East Mule Nostril instead of New York because it snowed at the destination, and then held in the airplanes on the ground and ignored without getting the passengers off and into the terminals and not captive on the airplane(s). The fines would be close to the dollar amount fines airlines are having to pay per passenger for those who are stranded through no fault of their own.
