Apollo 11 F-5 engines found?

Wed Mar 28, 2012 6:47 pm

Jeff Bazos, CEO of AMAZON.com and his space program Blue Origin believe they have found the first stage booster engines from Apollo 11 at a depth of 14,000 ft. in the Atlantic Ocean.
Blue Origin spent over a year looking for the engines off the Florida Coast. The F-5 was the most powerful rocket engine ever built. Whether the engines are from Apollo 8, 9, 10, or 12 thru 17 instead they would be an incredible item to recover from our space heritage.
If Blue Origin recovers the engines, it will be a zero cost to the Government or NASA and since they are still government property they would be handed back to NASA. geek
