GA Question...Bonanza Crash that killed Buddy H...

Some claims on other forums that it was called 'Miss American Pie' and photos exist of it with that painted on.

Think it's an urban myth myself but would love to be proved wrong :)

"Snopes.com", the "Mythbusters" of the internet, says that the rumour that the ill-fated Bonanza was named "Miss American Pie" is pure fiction, and that the origin of the rumour is unknown. Singer/songwriter Don McLean has publicly stated that his hit song, "American Pie", was not named after the Bonanza (which had no name), saying that he just made the name of the song up.

Urban legend, the only thing on the side of the plane was "N3794N."
