I'm sorry, WHAT? :?
(I'm just going to assume that it's bad for the time being.)

Also, shouldn't this and the 787 thread go in the "General Aviation" subforum?

The tail paint is kinda cool but the logo and rest of the painting looks like any generic American corporation. The AA logo was a unique and recognizable brand. They would be stupid to do away with it.

I think the new livery is hideous. They've lost all brand recognition and ditched the proud history of the AA eagle logo. Perhaps it's just advance planning for becoming part of USAir. Indicentally, I also hate their drab, boring livery.

I'm in a minority, I work for the company and I like it, most of my co-workers hate it.

I hated it at first, but the eagle (the head at least) is still there, so I'm not completely against it. I agree that it may be a "first step" towards a USAir/AAL merger and if it is, it suggests that "American" would be the resulting brand with USAir's management (similar to the COA/UAL merger/takeover).

A polite way to suggest something resembles the result of a dog emptying it's bladder-that paint job belongs on a '71 CAMARO Z-28 with a tunnel ram intake manifold poking through the hood.

I was afraid of what I might see when I opened the link. Maybe it was another classic case of "lowering your expectations so as not to be too disappointed" but for whatever reason, I kinda like it. :|
