I was actually given that article by a co-worker the other day. Surprising, considering I basically work one street over, that I have NEVER heard of that story before. The Ottawa airport has a bad track record of honouring its history, especially considering how much has happened here over the years.

I agree Sean. Thad Johnson Rd. and Lindbergh Lane at the North Field are almost the only historical acknowledgments of the airport's history. There's also the subtle Taxiway Private at the North Field that alludes to the fact that there used to be a taxiway and hangar over on the other side of what is now Canadair Private.
