I have one of these from DC-6 N90753. Anyone know if there is a market for these, as far as being collectable?

Do you mean 'dripstick? I believe the DC-6 came with 'dripsticks' that came out of the bottom of the wings at each tank to easily measure fuel levels and mechanics hated it 'OOOOOH evil!! Bad JuJu' but ,when it turned up years later on the DC-10, mechanics thought it was better than an empty gripes page in the log books.
It's a curiosity item now and good for asking 'so..what's this..?'

The DC-6 and DC-7 use a 4 sided plastic dipstick that's about two feet long and has scales and sight tubes for the various main and alternate fuel tanks. The sight tube has a hole at the top that you cover with your thumb to keep the fuel from running out.I have no idea if there's a collector's market for this item, but it wouldn't surprise me.Our last DC-6 went to the smelter a few years ago,but we can always use DC-7 dipsticks. If the DC-6 stick is for a DC-6B,you might try Red Bull or Evert's Air Fuel to see if they need it.
