For fans of the Globe Swift, here is the a/p webcam link. The Swift Club is parking the planes on our old East/West grass runway so not many are visible from the webcams right now. I'll try to get some image and movies posted this weekend. As of this evening, there are 35+ Swifts on the field with at least another five or six on the way.

I did not get much time to take photos or video during the Swift Flyin last weekend at Creve Coeur. However, the airport manager (and part time photographer) emailed me a few to post. Great bunch of folks in this club, they would be welcomed back to our airport anytime! I think the total was 51 Swifts on the field by Saturday afternoon. All images courtesy of Robert Cameron.

It's encouraging to see that there's another T-35 BUCKAROO flying besides the one locally here in Washington State with the Cascades Warbirds and that 66% of the total built A) exist and B) still fly.

My first year at Oshkosh was also the first year they brought the first airworthy T-35. I had never seen a polished metal airplane and I made the mistake of touching the tail. CHarlie Nelson went ballistic and really chewed me a "new one". That was 37 years ago and still the worst I have ever been chewed out by anyone at any airport.
We had six on the field last week, Whenb I seem them I dont see anything new or innovative. All the mods were thought of 30 to 40 years ago. I know 30 years ago they talked about building some replica fuselages of the T-35. Can't they have some fuselages and canopies built up in CHina/ Brazil, Czech Republic/ Poland. etc., that a person can build up using a donor swift? Americans have gotten a lot bigger since the 1940's. I'm 6' and 175 lbs. Most people I know can't fit in a swift.
